Connect with Christ ~ Colossians 1:15
Jesus Christ is the head of the church and we are his body. The only way that we can connect with Christ is through faith in him. Once we have placed our faith in him, he is faithful to forgive us, and we then become a part of a body that is called the church. We have been given his righteous character and are now learning what it means to be an image bearer. While we still struggle with our old sinful nature, we have been reconciled with a holy God and strive to represent his character in a fallen world. All of this is made possible through the gospel message that is contained in scripture.
