Tim Webb

Senior Pastor

Tim is the founding pastor of Champion Fellowship. He has a genuine and abiding love for the Lord and His people, and brings visionary leadership to this church that is characterized by fervent prayer and a desire to proclaim Jesus Christ to a lost world.  He and his wife, Leslie, have two children, Garrett and Hadley, daughter-in-law, Kelsey, three grandchildren Parker, Myles and Marcy and son-in-law Carter. 
  

Steve Forman

Executive Pastor

Steve is a lawyer and an ordained pastor. He graduated from Texas A&M in 1984 and Texas Tech School of Law in 1992. He practiced law in Beaumont for 20 years. In 2006, God radically redirected Steve’s life toward fulltime ministry. He graduated from Dallas Theological Seminary (ThM) in 2012.  Since DTS, Steve has worked as executive pastor, mission foundation director, inhouse counsel for a national Christian media ministry and outside counsel for churches, nonprofits and faith-based businesses.  Steve and his wife Jeanette have three adult daughters, wonderful son-in-laws, three grandkids and one on the way.

Phil Porter

Worship Pastor/Creative Director

Phil Porter grew up in Kansas City, MO, and is married to Melissa Porter. They have three kids: Olivia, Ashton, and Caroline. Phil has been leading worship since he was a senior in high school. He has had the opportunity to travel in music and has released multiple albums. Now, his primary passion is to use his gifting in the local church.

David Klingler

Teaching Pastor

David received both his ThM (2004) in Bible Exposition and his PhD (2010) in Old Testament Studies from Dallas Theological Seminary (DTS). Currently, David is a professor at DTS in the Bible Exposition Department. Since 2004, David has taught Bible as well as the biblical languages (Greek and Hebrew) at Dallas Theological Seminary, Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Word of Life Hungary, and the College of Biblical Studies in Houston. As well as being a faculty member in the Bible Exposition Department at DTS, David is also the PhD Coordinator for the Bible Exposition program. David has also had several of his works published.
David graduated from Stratford High School in 1987 and the University of Houston in 1991. David was drafted in the first round of the 1992 NFL draft and retired from the National Football League in 1998 after six seasons as a quarterback for the Cincinnati Bengals and Oakland Raiders. David’s passion is making the Bible simple and understandable. David and his wife Katie have a son Luke, daughter-in-law Morgan, and another son James.

Kimberly Kirby

Children's Ministry  Director

Kimberly was born and raised in Brenham, Texas. She attended Champion Fellowship with her family, graduated from UMHB, and then moved back to Brenham. After moving back, Kimberly worked at a local elementary school and served in the ministry, JAM. While serving in this ministry, the Lord made known to her how joyful it is to experience kids coming to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior. After the 2019 summer, Kimberly came on staff as the Children's Ministry Director.  Kimberly is highly grateful to be a part of the CF staff and enjoys serving alongside her husband, Josh.

Cary Todd

Community Pastor

Cary confessed Christ as Lord as a 7 year old, began truly following Christ as a 16 year old, and accepted God's calling to serve in the Gospel ministry as a 19 year old.  He is married to his beautiful bride, Brandi, of 26 years and they have 2 children (Caryssa & Luke) and a new daughter-in-law (Brianna)!  Cary graduated from Texas A & M University in 1999 and is currently pursuing a Masters of Theological Studies (MTS) degree from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.  Cary loves to help people connect with Christ and walk alongside them in this process and knows the honor and privilege it is to get to do this with people as community pastor, here at Champion Fellowship!

Alex Wolfe

Family Pastor

Alex grew up in small-town Iowa, but has also lived in Virginia, Kansas, and of course, Texas. He and his wife Lindsay were married in 2012 and have two boys, 4-year-old Lochlan, and 1-year-old, Judah. Since 2006, he has been serving in various ministry roles including Worship Leader, Life Group Leader, Youth Leader, Graphic Designer, Media Ministry, and College Minister. Recently he left his role as Young Adults and Young Families Pastor in Topeka, KS to pursue a PhD in Bible Exposition at Dallas Theological Seminary. He received his bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) in Religious Studies with an emphasis in Jewish Studies in December of 2015 and Master of Theology (ThM) from Dallas Theological Seminary in May of 2020. He has a passion for teaching the Bible and Biblical Theology and helping people reorient their lives around the story of the Bible for the glory of God.

Tina Roehling

Executive Assistant

Born and raised in Brenham, Texas, Tina joined the staff at Champion Fellowship in January 2013 as the Children's Director.  Tina has been married to Stacey since 1994. They have 3 children: Addie, Kyler and Braden. As the Executive Assistant, Tina seeks to help the ministries coordinate their efforts in spreading the gospel through our church and our community. 

Susanna Moye

Administrative  Assistant

After a professional career in the banking industry, she retired in 1999 to raise her and her husband CK's young family of three girls, Jordan, Abby and Lindsey.  The Moye family joined Champion Fellowship in 2010 and Susanna joined the Champion Fellowship staff in 2017 as the Office Administrative Assistant. By serving in the office, she looks forward to helping connect people with the resources needed to grow in faith and relationship with Christ.

James Bethany

Director of Communications

James Bethany grew up in Corpus Christi, Texas and graduated from the University of Houston with a BFA in Graphic Communications. He worked at a number of advertising agencies and design firms before starting his own design firm seven years ago. He has been creating effective marketing and communication solutions for more than 40 years. James has two children, Baylie and Blake and two grandkids Bridge and Brynley.
