Revelation Chapters 13 & 14

The book of Revelation does not reveal to us what will happen; the first 65 books of the Bible

do that. Instead, the book of Revelation reveals how the events revealed in the first 65 books

will happen. Thus, John’s Revelation gives the details of the events of Daniel’s “70th

week,” Christ’s reign over the nations, and the new heavens and new earth in order to encourage the

seven churches to whom he writes to endure and overcome. By studying this book, we, too, can

be encouraged to endure and overcome.
