Scripture reveals one consistent message from Moses to Christ: the Word of God brings life. The Word that created all things, promised redemption after the fall, and revealed God’s glory to Moses was made visible in Jesus Christ. Though Israel had the Scriptures, many did not recognize Him when He came. The Bible presents a clear choice between life and death, light and darkness. Those who receive Christ receive life, and those who believe are called to reflect His light and proclaim the truth of God’s Word.
