Intro to Series

Our Godly Leadership series explores the vital role leadership plays in the unfolding story of God and His people. Rooted in the truth that so goes the leader, so goes the people, this series begins by examining the life of Moses and the weight of responsibility he carried as a mediator between God and Israel. We then trace the development of leadership throughout Scripture—from the judges who delivered, the priests who interceded, the kings who ruled, and the prophets who spoke on God’s behalf. We also confront the danger of false prophets and teachers, whose deception led many astray, contrasting them with faithful teachers who rightly handle the Word of truth. The series emphasizes the essential role of leadership in the family, where spiritual direction and discipleship must begin. Ultimately, we are warned against finishing poorly—reminding us not to be an “old fool” who abandons wisdom in the later years. Through it all, we are called to pursue godly leadership marked by humility, faithfulness, and obedience to God’s Word.
