#22 Letters: Paul's Writings to the Church in Colossae

In this episode, Tim is joined by Theological Professor/Bible Teacher David Klingler to discuss Paul's letter to the church of Phillippi. All letters that Paul writes have a specific meaning and purpose behind them. Today, our discussion in the book of Colossians has some similar direction as in the book of Ephesians. Paul begins with theology and then moves to application. The nature of Jesus Christ as Creator and Redeemer was nonnegotiable, so Paul wrote to them that he might bring his wisdom to bear on this difficult and trying situation. It was critical to him that this church know God in His greatness and glory, rather than in the deficient view given them by the false teachers.
