Where Is Your Hope?
Jan 29, 2023 • David Klingler
There’s no going back. What is done cannot be undone. Once Adam and Eve were banished from the garden, there was no going back. After their banishment, the adversary, Satan, would oppose them, deceive them, persecute them, and even seek to kill them. The only way was forward. As we reflect on these early parts of God’s story, we find application not so much in what happened then but in how these past events have led us to where we are in the story today. Like the saints of old, there is no going back for us either. We must forge ahead according to His plan and purposes. Our hope is a future hope.
